The Accommodation Discovery Tool is an interactive workbook designed to build self-awareness, self-advocacy, and meaningful student participation in IEP and transition planning. Through a learning preferences survey, students identify areas where they may benefit from additional supports and explore accommodations commonly used in those categories.
 
Rather than focusing only on accommodations already listed in an IEP, students discover strategies that align with how they learn best and reflect on which supports they already use, would like to try, and believe could help them succeed.
